2016 King of the Hammers

The opening of Hammertown in Johnson Valley, California on February 3rd signals the beginning of the 2017 Nitto Tire King of the Hammers, powered by OPTIMA Batteries. More than 1,200 competitors and tens of thousands of spectators will converge on an area of Southern California that some cell phones identify as Landers, although during the first week of February, the lake bed in Johnson Valley is known to everyone there as "Hammertown."
