2018 NITTO King of the Hammers powered by OPTIMA Album One

The NITTO Tire King of the Hammers, powered by OPTIMA Batteries probably shouldn't exist, but somehow, it does. It takes place in California, which isn't exactly known for embracing all-new, rip-roaring motorsports events and the venue was nearly lost to the expansion of a nearby training facility for the United States Marines, but somehow it not only survives each challenge, but it grows and thrives each year. The Means Dry Lake bed turns into a place called Hammertown, but it has grown so much in size and scope over the years, that Hammercity might be more appropriate now, as the number of spectators and competitors easily numbers in the tens of thousands.
