Chrysler only produced the Crossfire for a few years, but it ended up with a solid group of dedicated enthusiasts. One of them is Travis Hearn and we got to take a look at his Chrysler Crossfire up close, when he drove it to our battery installation center at the 2019 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Like a lot of Daimler/Chrysler vehicles, it runs a European (DIN) battery known as the Group 48 or H6 battery. OPTIMA now happens to offer a direct-fit upgrade for this vehicle, our OPTIMA YELLOWTOP Group 48/H6 battery.

If you have a newer Chrysler or Mercedes-Benz vehicle, there's a good chance an OPTIMA H6 will fit in it. However, some of those vehicles use larger batteries, like the H7, which OPTIMA also offers in our DH7/Group 94R YELLOWTOP battery.

The OPTIMA Group 48/H6 battery is no lightweight, weighing in at about 54 pounds, but it will offer plenty of cranking amps and reserve power for nearly every H6, H7 or H8 application out there. Even with the release of OPTIMA's H7 battery, we expect many enthusiasts will still opt for the H6, because of the weight savings it will offer over the heavier H7 or even heavier H8 and our friends at Weistec offer an adapter that will allow you do use the smaller, lighter H6 in an H7 or H8 fitment. We also want to remind you that if you purchase your OPTIMA battery directly from us and purchase an OPTIMA Digital 1200 Charger at the same time, we'll add an additional year of warranty coverage to your battery purchase.
