General Motors' GMT400 trucks started production with the 1988 model year and ran through the 2002 model year. Sometimes these trucks are referred to as "OBS" trucks, meaning "Old Body Style," but as more generations have come into the picture since that phrase was first used, it really doesn't make sense like it once did. After all, Squarebody trucks are an older body style than the GMT400 and the second gen (67-72) trucks are older than the Squarebody trucks and the first generation of trucks going back to 1960 are older than all of the subsequent versions.
Whatever the case, dozens of these GMT400 trucks have been on display at the SEMA Show over the years and we've assembled a gallery going back more than 10 years. Lifted, lowered and everything in between has been on display and OPTIMA offers direct-fit battery upgrades for all of them! Check out the gallery below and if Squarebody GM trucks are more to your liking, check out this Squarebody SEMA Show Gallery.
