How Fast Do Cars Go at Road America?

One of the great things about a vintage race weekend at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, is that you get to see a wide variety of race cars, spanning more than 100 years. Everything from Bugattis from the 1920s to 21st century Ford Mustangs run in these vintage races, although typically they are broken into various run groups. Some of these cars might not hit 100 mph for a top speed, while a well-prepared car with the right driver could eclipse 200 mph.
