Is Vaughn Gittin Jr retired? No. In fact, he's far from retired and in some ways, busier than ever. While the 2020 Formula Drift champion may have stepped away from the driver's seat of his Ford Mustang, he's definitely not done driving or done with Formula Drift.
Vaughn is now serving as team owner of Team RTR, with drivers Chelsea DeNofa and Adam LZ handling driving duties in Formula Drift. Vaughn spends most of his time behind the wheel of new Broncos these days, competing in Ultra4 events around the country, including capturing 1st place at the 2021 Ultra4 Nationals and back-to-back top-10 finishes at the legendary Progressive King of the Hammers, powered by OPTIMA Batteries. Vaughn and fellow Fun-Haver, Loren Healy also won the 2022 4WP Everyman Challenge in their Ford Bronco.
There's also Gittin Jr's exclusive line of RTR-branded Ford vehicles and merchandise, that you can learn more about at his website.
