We never like to hear about or see accidents happen in motorsports (or anywhere else), but we know they are a harsh reality in the world of motorsports. This Mazda RX-8 is just the latest example of what can and does happen on the race track.
We are happy to report that the driver is ok and amazingly enough, the REDTOP OPTIMA survived to race another day, even though it was shoved back into the engine.
