There are two different ORANGETOP options, both in the Group 31 sizing. The OPTIMA Q31M-DP120 ORANGETOP is a dual-purpose battery designed for both engine starting and deep-cycle user. That ORANGETOP offers up to 1200 cranking amps of power, meeting or exceeding Mercury's November 2022 requirements for lithium starting batteries, while also being rated at 120Ah for deep-cycle use.
The OPTIMA Q31M-DC150 ORANGETOP is a deep-cycle lithium battery is designed and intended for deep-cycle use in both marine and RV applications rated at 150Ah. Both OPTIMA ORANGETOP lithium batteries feature an advanced microprocessor controlled BMS (Battery Management System) and industry-leading communication options via NMEA 2000 ports and a Bluetooth app that displays battery status. The DC150 ORANGETOP also has an integrated cell heater to enable charging in extremely cold temperatures and expand the usable operating range of the battery.
As you would expect with all OPTIMA Batteries, these ORANGETOP batteries offer robust, industry-leading protection against damage from vibration or intrusion from dust or water. While an OPTIMA lithium battery charger is not required to charge these batteries, a lithium-specific charger or a battery charger with lithium-specific settings should be used.
