The third generation of General Motors pickup trucks, commonly referred to as the "Squarebody" era, was the longest production run of the C/K model line, being produced in total for 18 model years from 1973 through 1991 (the pickup truck lines moved over to the "GMT400 era of trucks, starting in 1988, but examples like the Suburban continued through 1991. These trucks marked the first factory dually configuration, as well as the first full-sized truck to be sold in the US with a diesel engine.

With such a long and storied history, it should come as no surprise that these trucks have become popular choices for modification in the automotive aftermarket over the years. Look no further than the SEMA Show in Las Vegas and you'll see dozens of examples over the years. In fact, we went back and looked for as many squarebody trucks as we could find at the SEMA Show, going back to about 2010 and gathered them in the photo gallery below.

Whether it's a 1973, a 1991 or anything in between, OPTIMA Batteries offers direct-fit battery upgrades for every one of them!
