What is special about a Bronco Raptor? First of all, OPTIMA invites Bronco Raptor owners (and Raptor owners) to Sparky's Offroad Rally, held at the OPTIMA King of the Hammers, presented by Ford Performance. Regular Bronco owners will have to sit this one out, but beyond that, what's the difference between a standard Ford Bronco and the Bronco Raptor?

That information can change from one model year to the next, but as of this writing, let's start with the Bronco Raptor engine, which is a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 that produces more than 400 horsepower and more than 400 lb-ft. of torque. The standard four-cylinder Bronco engine can produce 300 horsepower and the 2.7-liter V6 bumps that output up to 330 horsepower, but that big 3.0-liter really gets things going!

The Bronco Raptor can also tow 4,500 pounds, which is a full 1,000 pounds more than a standard Bronco and to help keep things cool when towing (or otherwise), the Bronco Raptor also has integrated hood vents. Standard Bronco tire sizes start at 30 inches and run up to 35 inches, but the Bronco Raptor runs on 37s! Bronco Raptors also come with skid plates and a suspension system that more closely resembles its Ultra4 roots than the standard Bronco system.

The larger tires and upgraded suspension make the Bronco Raptor wider and taller than the standard Bronco, but also give it nearly five additional inches of ground clearance. The question everyone (in the OPTIMA Batteries offices) wants answered is, does OPTIMA Batteries make a battery upgrade for Bronco Raptor owners? The answer is a resounding YES!

With that important question answered, check out this video highlighting Sparky's 2025 Offroad Rally for Bronco Raptor and Ford Raptor owners!
